Eclipse Fusion is an alliance of dancers with widespread belly dance training devoted to studying and performing
the art of tribal fusion belly dance.
Eclipse Fusion explores the lines between
Middle Eastern and Tribal Fusion dance, infusing their performances
with a theatrical intention of blending old and new.
Meet our current collective of dancers...
~Anita~
Anita started dancing Raq Sharki style at Isis Dance Studio in 2001 and then dabbled a bit in American Tribal Style (ATS). When Anita tried a Tribal Fusion class at Bedouin Beats (http://www.bedouinbeats.com) in 2009 she became completely obsessed with it! Anita is one of the original members of Eclipse Fusion, having joined when it was formed in 2010.
Some of Anita's Raq Sharki workshops include instruction with Hadia, Nath Keo, and Horatio and Beata Cifuentes. When she attended Gothla (in California) in 2010 she learned from Anar, Tempest, Sashi, Madame Raine, Nala of Chakra, Lacey, and Ashara. Locally Anita has taken classes from Tracey, Carole, Anemone, Saskia, Donna, and Tania, all of whom she praises as incredible instructors. Anita says, "I love fusion dance and costuming and feel incredibly lucky to be able to pursue my passion with fellow dance addicts weekly at Bedouin Beats" and, " I love creating collaborative choreographies with my talented and amazing troupe-mates!"

~Carla~
Carla started her belly dance journey when she was invited to join a class with friends in 2013. She immediately fell in love!
She started with more traditional belly dance and then branched out to try as many styles as she could. She recently started her journey with Audra Simmons doing the Dark Side Dance program
and has passed Stage 1 - Basic Black.
Carla looks forward to more learning and dancing in the future!

~Tania, our Benevolent Opinionator~
Tania is the mastermind behind Eclipse Fusion. She is an integral part of the troupe and, while she may not perform with us, she is still the glue which holds us together. Her vast knowledge of the dance and infectious attitude as well as input on choreography and other important aspects are invaluable.
